Description
ODE was contracted by Vattenfall to provide the design of the offshore substation platform (OSP) for the Ormonde Offshore Transmission Assets, which later became the Ormonde OFTO. The scope covered the structural and layout design of the single offshore HVAC substation that collects power from the Ormonde wind farm and exports it at 132 kV towards shore. This work formed part of Vattenfall’s multi‑contract delivery strategy for the transmission assets ahead of their transfer to the OFTO owner.
