Within the same "Offshore Cable Repair Vessel and Universal Joint" project for which TC Ormonde OFTO Limited is the funding licensee, successful high-voltage testing of universal joint test articles to specified standards, followed by a sea trial of the joint, is planned to be completed by June 2018. These tests are intended to qualify a universal repair joint for offshore transmission cables that can be used by Ormonde OFTO and other network licensees.
