In 2010, Ofgem selected Transmission Capital Partners to act as the Offshore Transmission Operator (OFTO) for the 150MW Ormonde offshore wind farm transmission link off the Cumbrian coast, establishing Transmission Capital Partners as the long-term owner-operator of the Ormonde offshore transmission assets once transferred.
