By 2020, the Öresund 400 kV HVAC cable replacement project for Svenska kraftnät had been executed, with four new 7.3 km power cables installed between Denmark and Sweden, including piggybacked fibre‑optic cables and 1,800 m of additional cable protection, all carried out within a tightly restricted 35‑day outage window in the Øresund Strait.
