The Oléron 1 zone was first put to tender under France's 2022 competitive dialogue (dialogue concurrentiel n°2/2022, known as AO7), for which no bid was submitted. The zone has since been re-proposed for development under the AO10 tender, at a planned installed capacity of 1,150–1,250 MW.
