Copenhagen Offshore Partners, on behalf of the GreenIT and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners consortium, confirmed the Nurax floating wind farm site off the coast of Olbia in northeast Sardinia as one of three newly acquired Italian floating offshore wind areas, with an indicative capacity of around 500 MW for Nurax. This portfolio expansion formalised the selection of the Nurax project area approximately 30–35 km from shore as part of a nearly 3 GW Italian floating wind pipeline.
