On 22 December 2023, Odra Energia submitted its Environmental Impact Assessment (VIA) study to the Ministry of the Environment and Energy Security and the Ministry of Culture, formally starting the EIA procedure for the floating offshore wind farm off the province of Lecce. The submission followed a year of studies and detailed the project hypothesis for subsequent publication and public consultation.
