TenneT was identified as the responsible transmission system operator for the offshore grid connection system LanWin2 (project NOR-12-2), which is planned to connect the offshore wind farm Oceanbeat West located on site N-12.2 to the onshore transmission grid in Germany. TenneT’s published transparency information listed a planned (voraussichtlicher) completion date of 2030-12-31 for the LanWin2 connection. The publication also noted that, for LanWin2, the interface between TenneT and the wind farm developer is at pre-installed plug connections, and highlighted potential schedule impacts related to route re-planning to avoid the Nordsee artillery firing range (with timing impacts to be specified after renegotiation of the changed scope).
