Description
Nord Pool EMCO was awarded an agreement to act as the service provider for North Sea Link trading arrangements from 2026, subject to final regulatory approval. The award followed a competitive tender and secures trading operations for the interconnector for up to 10 years. Under the agreement, Nord Pool EMCO will continue to run auctions that integrate North Sea Link trading into its Great Britain day-ahead auctions and introduce intraday auctions and other operational changes to facilitate cross-border trading between Great Britain and Norway.
