Description
Atkins was part of a consultant consortium that Ofgem commissioned to provide an independent technical review of the North Sea Link project’s costs and approach. The consortium supplied engineering input to Ofgem’s Final Project Assessment (FPA), informing Ofgem’s view of efficient project costs, risk allocation and aspects of the post-construction review. The work supported Ofgem’s assessment of EPC contracts, converter and cable cost elements and availability targets for NSL.
