An initial route survey and detailed route planning were completed in the early development of North Sea Link. Port Hill Marine participated in the inception phase, providing a fisheries liaison officer (FLO), contributing to initial route planning and undertaking part of the initial route survey work used to refine the offshore route and reduce interactions with fishing activity.
