An outline planning application for the onshore elements of North Sea Link (including the preferred converter station site and cable route studies) was approved in November 2014. The Environment Partnership (TEP) led the environmental and planning work for National Grid, preparing the application and supporting documents; TEP continued to assist with discharge of reserved matters and conditions thereafter.
