An intrusive geotechnical campaign was carried out for North Sea Link to obtain seabed and sub‑seabed information required for engineering design and burial planning. The campaign (described on the project website) used intrusive methods to characterise soil conditions along the proposed cable corridor to inform cable burial depth and installation technique decisions for both UK and Norwegian waters.
