As part of the offshore construction phase scheduled to begin in 2027, NISA plans pre-construction offshore site preparation for the export system. This includes seabed preparation along the export cable corridor, landfall Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) for the export cables beneath Bremore Beach, and related preparatory works prior to laying and burying the offshore export cables between the offshore substation platform and the Bremore landfall.
