Construction of the offshore transmission infrastructure for the North Irish Sea Array export system, including the offshore export cable corridor and associated works, is expected to commence in 2027. Subject to planning permission and other permits, offshore construction will run from 2027 to 2029 and will encompass activities around the offshore substation platform and the subsea export cables linking the array area to the Bremore landfall.
