Offshore export cable installation for the North Irish Sea Array export system is planned to commence during the offshore construction programme starting in 2027. Two 220 kV HVAC offshore export cables, each approximately 18 km long offshore, will be installed within the export cable corridor between the offshore substation platform and the Bremore landfall, including associated cable protection where burial is not practicable.
