Description
SMD worked with MPI Offshore (formerly Mayflower Energy Ltd) on North Hoyle and developed a cable lay and burial trencher for the project’s cable-lay component. The vehicle was designed to be deployed to the seabed to connect individual turbines using a simultaneous lay-and-burial technique, supporting installation of the inter-turbine cable network.
