Fugro

Fugro was contracted to carry out geotechnical survey work at the North Falls Offshore Wind Farm site, covering both the export cable route and the proposed wind turbine array area in the southern North Sea. The survey scope included downhole sampling and cone penetration tests (CPTs) in sand and clay, with rotary core drilling in rock to depths of up to six metres below the seabed. Fugro planned to use the vessel Voe Vanguard, with mobilisation scheduled to start on 3 August 2025 and the campaign expected to last around two months, subject to weather.
