In 2021, North Falls Offshore Wind Farm Ltd prepared and submitted an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Scoping Report to the Planning Inspectorate, requesting a formal scoping opinion under Regulation 10 of the Infrastructure Planning (Environmental Impact Assessment) Regulations 2017 to define the scope and methodology for the project’s EIA in support of its future Development Consent Order (DCO) application.
