In February 2017, following The Crown Estate’s launch of an opportunity for existing wind farms to apply for project extensions, North Falls Offshore Wind Farm Limited applied for a seabed lease to develop an extension immediately adjacent to the western boundary of the existing Greater Gabbard arrays in the southern North Sea.
