Description
MMT was awarded a protection survey contract by Statnett covering both the SK4 and NorNed power cable interconnectors. For NorNed, MMT carried out detailed high‑resolution offshore ROV surveys and cable tracking to produce terrain models of the cable, trenches, berms and engineered crossings, and to determine location and depth of burial. The survey campaign aimed to identify exposed, freespanning or shallow‑buried sections and possible damage, supporting Statnett’s ongoing operation and maintenance of the NorNed HVDC cable.
