N‑Sea

N-Sea was awarded a contract by RWE to perform marine site investigations for the Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone, comprising Norfolk Boreas, Vanguard East, and Vanguard West. The scope included geophysical and geotechnical surveys and related activities along export cable routes and inter-array cable corridors, including UXO survey using multibeam and sub-bottom profiler, 2DUHRS seismic/sub-bottom profiling, CPT and vibrocore geotechnical investigations with laboratory testing, WROV-based depth-of-burial survey of existing cables, debris survey and removal, and environmental survey including drop-down video transects. Offshore operations were carried out between March 2023 and November 2024 using multiple vessels and survey systems.
