In March 2024, RWE acquired the Norfolk Vanguard West, Norfolk Vanguard East and Norfolk Boreas offshore wind projects from Vattenfall, taking over the fully consented Norfolk portfolio with a combined capacity of 4.2 GW. Trade press reports indicate that Vattenfall sold the three Norfolk projects to RWE for approximately EUR 1.1 billion for the portfolio.
