Description
RWE awarded N-Sea a marine site investigation contract covering the Norfolk Offshore Wind Zone, including Norfolk Vanguard East. N-Sea’s scope comprised geophysical surveys (including multibeam echosounder and sub-bottom profiling), geotechnical investigations (CPT and vibrocore sampling with laboratory testing), UXO survey along export and inter-array corridors, and environmental survey work (including drop-down video transects), plus reporting and data processing. Offshore operations ran from March 2023 to November 2024 and used multiple N-Sea and chartered assets (including N-Sea Pathfinder, Braveheart Spirit, Geo Ranger and Geo Focus).
