On 10 March 2026, Vestas received a firm order from RWE confirming it as turbine supplier for the 1,380 MW Vanguard East offshore wind project off the Norfolk coast. Under the contract, Vestas will supply, deliver and commission 92 V236‑15.0 MW offshore wind turbines and provide a five‑year comprehensive service agreement followed by a long‑term operational support agreement, with turbine deliveries scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2028 and project commissioning expected in 2030.
