On 14 January 2026, RWE and global investment firm KKR agreed a long-term partnership under which KKR will acquire a 50% equity stake in the Norfolk Vanguard East offshore wind project (and its sister project Norfolk Vanguard West). The partners plan to jointly develop, construct and operate the wind farms, with closing of the equity transaction and associated non‑recourse project financing targeted for summer 2026.
