In March 2024, RWE acquired 100% ownership of the Norfolk Vanguard East offshore wind project from Vattenfall as part of a transaction in which RWE bought all three Norfolk developments (Norfolk Vanguard East, Norfolk Vanguard West and Norfolk Boreas), totalling 4.2 GW of capacity. This portfolio acquisition transferred project rights including seabed leases, grid connections and development consents for Norfolk Vanguard East to RWE.
