Following landfall and offshore cable corridor assessments, the developers selected the most northerly offshore export cable corridor with landfall in the Bacton area for Norfolk Boreas and Norfolk Vanguard, and subsequently ruled out the Eccles‑on‑Sea section due to poor access, proximity to the Broads National Park and a coastal settlement, and unsuitable geology.
