In September 2016, Fugro Survey B.V. began acquiring geophysical data for the Norfolk Boreas offshore project area, collecting sidescan sonar, multibeam bathymetry, magnetometer, and sub‑bottom profiler data over the shared offshore export cable corridor and the Norfolk Vanguard West site to support the Norfolk Boreas EIA and archaeological baseline.
