As part of the Danish Energy Agency’s preliminary investigations for the North Sea I offshore wind area, an export cables cable route survey has been carried out and the resulting cable route survey report has been published, providing geophysical information on the planned submarine export cable corridors that will serve projects such as Nordsøen Syd Export Cable.
Geotechnical site investigations for the export cables associated with the North Sea I area have been completed and published, covering landfall site investigations and landfall‑to‑substation routes for three corridor options: A1 Nymindegab South, A2 Nymindegab North and A3 Vedersø Klit, which support the planned grid connections including Nordsøen Syd Export Cable.
Burial assessment and cable burial risk assessment studies for the export cable landfalls at Nymindegab North, Nymindegab South and Vedersø Klit have been completed and the reports published within the North Sea I preliminary investigations, providing detailed evaluation of burial feasibility and risk for the future export cables including those serving Nordsøen Syd.
