Description
DEME was awarded a contract by RWE to transport and install the inter-array (inter-turbine) cables for the 900 MW Nordseecluster B offshore wind farm in Germany. DEME’s scope covered engineering, preparation and supporting activities and included the transport, lay and installation of a total of 124 km of inter-array cables connecting 60 wind turbine foundations to the offshore substation. Offshore works were scheduled to start towards the end of 2027 using DEME’s cable installation vessel Living Stone and additional supporting equipment.
