Description
Vestas was selected by RWE to supply Nordseecluster A (NC 1 and NC 2) with V236-15.0 MW offshore wind turbines. The contract scope was described as delivery of the turbines for the first-phase build-out, and elsewhere as supply, delivery and commissioning, supported by a service agreement including an initial service period followed by operational support. Nordseecluster A comprises 44 turbines (total 660 MW) scheduled for offshore installation in 2026 with grid connection targeted for early 2027.
