By 3 July 2024, RWE had identified Hellenic Cables as the preferred supplier of inter-array cables for the 1.6 GW Nordseecluster development, which includes the 660 MW Nordseecluster A phase. The company is to provide 66 kV aluminium and copper subsea cables that will connect all 44 Vestas turbines in Nordseecluster A to its offshore substations.
