The Nordsee Ost offshore wind farm, developed by RWE/innogy and comprising 48 Senvion 6.2M126 turbines with a total capacity of 295 MW in the German North Sea, was officially put into operation on 11 May 2015, marking the start of full commercial operations after construction and commissioning were completed.
