On 21 December 2018, Nordsee One GmbH marked the first anniversary of full commercial operations at the 332 MW Nordsee One offshore wind farm in the German North Sea. The project owner highlighted that one year earlier the wind farm had started full commercial operation and since then had reliably produced green electricity. Located around 40–45 kilometres north of the island of Juist, the 54‑turbine project had over its first operational year generated enough power to supply the equivalent of several hundred thousand households. The anniversary underscored the successful transition of Nordsee One from construction into stable operational performance within its first year in service.
