Description
DEME was awarded contracts by Vattenfall and BASF to transport and install the monopile foundations and transition pieces for the Nordlicht offshore wind farms, and to perform scour protection. For Nordlicht II, DEME’s scope covers transport and installation of 44 monopile foundations and 44 transition pieces, plus associated scour protection at the foundation locations, using offshore installation and fallpipe vessels (including Orion and a fallpipe vessel).
