Description
DEME was awarded the contract by Vattenfall and BASF to manage offshore installation of the monopile foundations and transition pieces for the Nordlicht wind farm developments. For Nordlicht I, DEME’s scope included installation of the monopile and transition piece foundations and execution of associated scour protection works at the turbine foundation locations, using its offshore installation and rock placement assets.
