Vattenfall (with BASF as then partner) awarded EEW Special Pipe Constructions a monopile foundation contract for the Nordlicht offshore wind cluster, including Nordlicht I, covering 112 monopiles (68 for Nordlicht I and 44 for Nordlicht II) and approximately 141,000 tonnes of steel to be fabricated at EEW’s Rostock site.
