Description
Muehlhan was engaged as a subcontractor under wpd’s leadership to perform coating works on the offshore transformer platform for the Nordergründe project. After the insolvency of BVT Bremen delayed completion of the platform, Muehlhan carried out the corrosion protection and surface coating of the offshore substation structure. This work was part of the package of remaining tasks required to complete the more than 2,000-tonne platform prior to its installation on a monopile foundation and subsequent commissioning of the Nordergründe grid connection in 2017.
