Description
JBO provided basic and detailed design for the Nordergründe offshore wind farm substructures, covering the monopiles and transition pieces for the 18 Senvion 6.2M126 turbine foundations. The scope included permitting design, flange and grouted connection design, planning of secondary steel elements (e.g., boat landings, platforms, J-tubes and cable/work platforms), preparation of technical specifications, ice and collision analyses, weight control, and fatigue assessment of piles after piling. The design work was carried out for client Ambau GmbH during the 2015–2016 planning period for building owner wpd AG.
