Deutsche Windtechnik Offshore and Consulting was contracted by wpd to take responsibility for the majority of equipment services and technical management for the Nordergründe offshore wind farm. The contracted duties included technical management and technical project management, coordination of divers, logistics and management of crew transfer vessel operations, basic structural maintenance and offshore substation-related scope, anti-corrosion work, underwater work and QHSE management. Deutsche Windtechnik personnel also supported project management activities during the build, production and commissioning phases and then into operations.
