Falck Renewables and BlueFloat Energy formally established the Nora Ventu joint venture company to develop two floating offshore wind farms, Nora Energia 1 and Nora Energia 2, in the Gulf of Cagliari off Sardinia, with a combined planned capacity of around 1.4 GW. The JV, operating through Nora Ventu, is responsible for proposing and progressing the Nora Energia 2 project, including early-stage activities such as launching local stakeholder consultations and preparing for environmental authorisation procedures.
