Falck Renewables (now Renantis) and BlueFloat Energy established the joint venture company Nora Ventu S.r.l. to develop floating offshore wind farms off the Sardinian coast, including the Nora Energia 1 project of 53 turbines and 795 MW located southwest of the Gulf of Cagliari. By February 2022, this jointly owned developer was actively progressing Nora Energia 1 and Nora Energia 2 and engaging local stakeholders through consultations, confirming the co-development structure for the projects.
