In 2021, Renantis (formerly Falck Renewables) and BlueFloat Energy formed a partnership and established the project company Nora Ventu S.r.l. to jointly develop several floating offshore wind farms in Italy, including the 795–800 MW Nora Energia 1 in the Sardinian Channel. GlobalData later reports that Nora Energia 1 is being developed by Nora Ventu and co-owned 50/50 by BlueFloat Energy and Renantis, confirming the joint venture ownership structure for the project.
