Ninfea Rinnovabili submitted a maritime concession application for the 750 MW Scicli (Ninfea Scicli) floating offshore wind farm in the Malta Channel, at least 27 kilometres off the southeast coast of Sicily. The application, covering a 30‑year concession over approximately 266.7 million square metres and including 50 x 15 MW turbines, two floating offshore substations, and export cables making landfall near Marina di Ragusa, was filed with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Sustainable Mobility’s Harbor Master’s Office – Coast Guard of Pozzallo.
