By August 2024, geotechnical investigations had commenced for BayWa r.e.’s three floating offshore wind projects off Sicily, including the Mazara del Vallo 2 project developed by Ninfea Rinnovabili, as part of work to refine the technical design and underpin subsequent environmental impact assessment submissions.
