NeuConnect announced that Siemens Energy has completed delivery of all 14 approximately 200‑tonne HVDC transformers for the project. The transformers have now been delivered to NeuConnect’s converter station sites in both the UK and Germany, marking a major construction milestone for the new UK‑German energy link. With all transformers on site, the project has secured a key element of its high‑voltage direct current infrastructure needed to enable future power flows between the two countries.
