The Italian Ministry of Environment and Energy Security (MASE) opened the scoping public consultation procedure "Definizione contenuti SIA (PNIEC-PNRR)" for the 1,800 MW floating offshore wind farm Nereus, following submission of the scoping request by Nereus S.r.l. on 7 April 2023. The scoping phase for defining the contents of the Environmental Impact Study ran from 21 April to 21 May 2023 and the procedure was later concluded with the communication of the scoping outcome to the proponent on 29 October 2024.
