Framework Agreement with RTE for EPCI of submarine power cable links to connect the 'Narbonnaise Project' offshore wind farm to the mainland grid; each project consists of three 225 kV HVAC three-core export cables; Narbonnaise requires ~340 km of cables (land and submarine).
Prysmian signed a framework agreement with Réseau de Transport d’Électricité (RTE) for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCI) of the submarine and land export cable links to connect the Narbonnaise offshore wind farm (EFLO) to the French mainland transmission grid. The framework covers three 225 kV HVAC three-core export cable links per project, including landfall works. The Narbonnaise connection was described as requiring approximately 340 km of cables (submarine and land combined), with delivery and commissioning targeted for 2031–2032, subject to call-off and final EPCI contract finalisation expected in 2026–2027.
