On 28 February 2024, the Narbonne sub-prefect validated the low‑impact corridors for the offshore and onshore connection routes and the preferred locations of the offshore and onshore electrical platforms for the Narbonnaise floating wind projects, selecting a shared 750 MW offshore substation about 33 km offshore, a landfall at Narbonne Plage, and an underground cable route to the Livière substation to serve both Narbonnaise 1 (AO6) and the future Narbonnaise 2 (AO9) extension.
